Reducing Costs Associated to Illness in a Post-COVID World
Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased healthcare costs significantly. As we move towards a post-COVID world, it is essential to identify strategies to reduce these costs and make healthcare more accessible. This paper explores the effectiveness of preventive care, telemedicine, value-based care, healthcare data analytics, and public health strategies in reducing healthcare costs. By investing in these strategies, healthcare providers can reduce costs while improving patient outcomes.

Introduction:
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted healthcare systems worldwide, resulting in increased healthcare costs. This paper explores various strategies that can help to reduce healthcare costs associated with illness in a post-COVID world. Specifically, we focus on preventive care, telemedicine, value-based care, healthcare data analytics, and public health strategies.
Literature Review:
Previous research has shown that investing in preventive care is an effective way to reduce healthcare costs (Author et al., 2021). Telemedicine has also been shown to be effective in reducing healthcare costs (Author et al., 2020). Value-based care is a new approach that seeks to reduce healthcare costs while improving patient outcomes (Author et al., 2019). Healthcare data analytics can help to identify patterns in patient data and reduce healthcare costs (Author et al., 2018). Public health strategies, such as vaccination programs and disease surveillance, can help to prevent illness and reduce the need for expensive treatments (Author et al., 2017).
Methodology:
This paper is a literature review that examines previous research on the effectiveness of various strategies in reducing healthcare costs associated with illness.
Results:
Investing in preventive care, telemedicine, value-based care, healthcare data analytics, and public health strategies can reduce healthcare costs while improving patient outcomes.
Discussion:
By investing in preventive care, telemedicine, value-based care, healthcare data analytics, and public health strategies, healthcare providers can reduce healthcare costs while improving patient outcomes.
Conclusion:
Reducing healthcare costs associated with illness in a post-COVID world requires a comprehensive approach that leverages technology, data, and preventive care. By investing in these strategies, healthcare providers can reduce healthcare costs while improving patient outcomes.
